·         The Snare Drum. It is a main part of the Drumset. It has different sound among all the kinds of Drums. The Snare Drum has several sizes, 10”- 15”. Normally, we use the 14”size. The Snare Drum has Snare Wire / Strainer on the bottom.
·         The Bass Drum. It is the biggest part of the Drumset. It has some diameters, 16”, 18”, 20”, 22”, 24”, 26”. The Bass Drum is beat with a Pedal. We put the pedal on the bottom of Bass Drum.
·         The Tom-Tom. It has many sizes too, from 6” until 20”. If the Tom is more than 14”, It can be classified as a Floor Tom. The Tom uses two Drumheads, Top and Bottom.
·         The Cymbal. There are several kinds of cymbals. They are :
1.      The Hi-Hat Cymbal
2.      The Ride Cymbal
3.      The Crash Cymbal
4.      The Effect Cymbal

They are kinds of Drums. About the knocking theory, you must learn from 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, and I think you can directly practice to learn it..marselinamurti@facebook.com
