Keep Your Voice Healthy



Keeping voice health is an important thing for you who want to sing well, especially when you will perform the choir in a concert. There are many ways to keep your voice, but I would like to give you the three ways below.
First, don’t force to sing in several conditions. Everyone has different voice compass (ambitus). For this condition, sing a song which is suitable with your voice compass. Singing a song which is not suitable with your voice will make a reduction of vocal chord. Another conditions, don’t sing when you were ill. It will make your voice bad.
Second, keep your foods and drinks. Spicy food and some foods which contain coconut make the vocal chord reduction. Avoid these foods 3 - 4 hours before singing. For drinks, avoid the ice before and after singing practice. Coffee, alcohol and cigarette should be decreased too.
The last, saliva is a good medicine to lighten the hoarse voice. So, it should be better if you do jaw movement before practice. Moving jaw upper and lower will produce lots of saliva. More than it, the practice of jaw movement will make your articulation good.
In the conclusion, It will be easy to keep your voice by several ways above. I hope it will be useful to you who want to sing well.
